This session was from earlier this year in the spring – one of the first few really warm days we had. This family was only days away from moving from their downtown townhouse and they wanted to capture life in their city neighbourhood before it was too late, even if it meant having to pull everyone together at the end of a long day of work, preschool and packing. They put on their brave faces, but I could tell how emotional it would be for them to say to goodbye to a neighbourhood they loved, the neighbourhood where they had become a family. We walked around to their favourite spots enjoying the evening sun, and the stress of packing while working and taking care of two young children, melted away, and their happiness together shone through.
