Elizabeth and her loves | Toronto Family Photographer
I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. Despite the chilly weather and rain, my girls were troopers and enjoyed both giving out candy at our door and traveling around the neighbourhood to fill their bags. Today's post features a session from back in September. Elizabeth is an artist who I met at a local mom's group (MumNet for anyone who is interested!). I've really enjoyed her friendship the past few years, as well as photographing her family.

Madness in an amazing, lots of running, lots of cuddling, lots of laughing, and lots of leaves throwing sort-of-way. I am so appreciative of all of the families who came out this weekend and spent a little time in front of my camera.

Celebrating 40 years! | Toronto Family Photographer
These four "kids" wanted to treat their parents to a family photo session in honour of their 40th wedding anniversary. Things have certainly changed since their original family of six!
We started on the street that they first lived on when they were married and then headed to the nearby local park.
9 adults and 6 kiddos.
One hot- sweaty-mess of a photographer. But well worth it!
Congratulations to this very sweet couple and the beautiful family they have raised together – they're certainly inspiring to us young folks just starting out! It was an honour to capture such a momentous occasion for them.

Finally, spring is here and I couldn't be happier! I'm sure everyone else is feeling the same way too. I spent an evening in High Park with this awesome family last week. We had a great time exploring the woods, watching ducks swim and running around on the grass. It felt so good to be outside in the fresh air on one of the first warm days this season.

I'm so in love with this family. I had the honour of capturing their wedding and now their adorable baby boy. Like many of my newborns lately, Oliver was not that interested in sleeping, but he was very content and happy to look at my camera. And cuddles on his mommy's chest soon had him drifting away.

This season is busy! Fall is such a beautiful time of year for family photos, and as the weather turns cooler and the days get shorter, everyone seems to scramble to get their yearly "family photos" scheduled in (myself included!). I have worked with some awesome families over the last few weeks and I have some beautiful portrait sessions to share, starting with this one – my sister and her crew!
